OysterMouseA special type of vertical mouse is the Oyster mouse. This mouse is suitable for both right and left-handed use, so you can easily switch hands. Also, this mouse can be set at different angles of inclination. Oyster mice are extremely suitable for variation in working posture, but also for flexible workstations. In this way everyone can adjust the Oyster mouse to their own preference.

What is an Oyster Mouse?

When we use a traditional mouse, our hand lies flat on the mouse. In this way, the muscles and bones in the forearm are crossed. Vertical mice, on the other hand, ensure that the muscles in the forearm are parallel and your wrist, hand and forearm are in a natural position. The innovative Oyster mouse can be set in five different inclinations between 20 and 70 degrees, depending on your personal preference. Working alternately with the right or left hand and arm is extremely easy. With the Oyster mouse wireless you only need to convert one switch. The Oyster mouse with wire also has a narrow channel at the bottom to guide the cord in the right direction. An Oyster mouse has two buttons and a scroll wheel. It also has a forward and backward button on the thumb side.

Advantages of an Oyster mouse

Oyster mice can be optimally adapted to everyone's personal preference, whether they are used by one or more people. The different angles of inclination guarantee that the hand, wrist and forearm are in a natural position, so that RSI complaints can be prevented or reduced. These mice are specially designed to vary in the hand you are working with and/or the angle of inclination.

The operation of the Oyster mouse is no different than you are used to with traditional mice. In terms of ease of use, you can compare the Oyster mouse with traditional mice or other vertical mice. Switching to this mouse therefore presents no problems.

The Oyster mice range

Oyster mice come in two different sizes. To determine the correct size, measure the width of the palm. You measure from below the thumb to the end of the palm. The OysterMouse Large is suitable for people with a hand wider than 9.5 cm. If your palm is narrower than 9.5 cm, choose the normal Oyster mouse. Both sizes are available at Ergo2Work, either with cable or wireless.
